“Witch Parade” was born in the cozy corner of my quilting room as Halloween approached. The inspiration came from a childhood memory of watching a Halloween costume parade in my small town, where kids giggled and twirled in their witch hats and twirling skirts. Each witch on this quilt seems to march with personality — bold, cheerful, and ready for tricks or treats.

The palette dances between purples, oranges, greens, and blacks — a free quilt pattern-style celebration of fall. Quilting this was both a joy and a challenge: aligning all the hats just right and choosing which witch wears which skirt was like dressing up paper dolls!

Perfect for DIY lovers and seasonal decor, this piece brings the spirit of Halloween to life. It’s not just a quilt — it’s a storytelling patchwork, a quilt pattern bursting with October whimsy and stitched with laughter.
