“Witch Parade” was born in the cozy corner of my quilting room as Halloween approached. The inspiration came from a childhood memory of watching a Halloween costume parade in my small town, where kids giggled and twirled in their witch hats and twirling skirts. Each witch on this quilt seems to march with personality — bold, cheerful, and ready for tricks or treats.

The palette dances between purples, oranges, greens, and blacks — a free quilt pattern-style celebration of fall. Quilting this was both a joy and a challenge: aligning all the hats just right and choosing which witch wears which skirt was like dressing up paper dolls!
